Hoy es el seis de octubre.  Hoy estaba nublado y hacía fresco por la mañana y por la tarde hace sol.
¡Hace muy buen tiempo hoy!

Es el otoño.

Today we are focusing on cognates by learning about different kinds of dances and music.  Cognates are words that look alike and have a similar meaning in both Spanish and English.

Our learning goal today is: 

• to recognize examples of cognates and loan words

Coming up this week we will have a reading task and a writing task to finish up with Capítulo 1A.
